Biography

I grew up in Dorset and was encouraged throughout my childhood to draw and paint as both sides of my family are creative. In 1992 graduated from Central St Martins with BA honours. Began career as a freelance illustrator and had lots of work published worldwide for a range of products including wallpaper designs, jigsaw puzzles, cards,giftwrap,calenders and books. My paintings are inspired by my life and living in Cornwall. I paint Cornish scenes with a naive simplicty and charm working from both sketches and imagination. My other paintings are full of symbolism depicting clothing,hearts,keys,wishes and words. they are connected with the important things in life-family,love,truth. things we can all identify with.
