Tim Wright has lived and worked in Penzance and Newlyn since 1983. This has been interspersed with periods in London, Spain, America and the South Pacific where he continued his work. This collection of paintings is a small sample of the range of work he has undertaken, demonstrating not only his skill as a figurative painter but also his ability to apply influences ranging from Impressionism to Cubism. Not content to stick to one particular style. His formal training was undertaken at Southend College of Art and Design, where he studied Print making and illustration. His art reflects on the passion he has for wildlife, the sea and music. Widely travelled with an eye for rich colour and texture, he gathered inspiration from the extraordinary to the everyday "stuff" of life and produces paintings that have a universal appeal.
